Millions of stories up for grabs at Lifeline Bookfest

MORE than one million books will be on sale at the upcoming Lifeline Bookfest at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Over 10 big days, book lovers will be able to browse through the 4.5 kilometres of tables holding 22 semi-trailer load of books, which span all different genres.

Whether you are looking for books on fiction, non-fiction, true stories, crime, cooking, travelling, parenting, poetry, craft, children or animals, the Lifeline Bookfest is sure to stock it.

Prices start at $1.

In addition, visitors will also be able to peruse a wide range of comics, magazines, records, stationary, puzzles, DVDs, CDs, vinyl, board games, sheet music and more.

There will also be a number of appearances from authors over the course of the event.

Money raised from the event will go towards the 24-hour Lifeline 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line.

The Lifeline Bookfest will be held between January 19-28 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

It is free to attend.
