A NUMBER of local artists will be showcasing their talent live on stage at the upcoming Live and Loud - A Songwriter's Night at Studio 188.
Live and Loud is a place where unearthed bands and independent artists can bring their music to fans and also have the opportunity to rock out on stage.
The upcoming show, which will be held on Friday, December 8, features the frontman of the Ipswich blues-rock band Fire and Whistle Theory, Tom Greenwood.
Tom Greenwood has played at some of the state's most iconic live music venues.
He has played with his band Fire and Whistle Theory, but also has his own solo music career.
His angelic acoustic sounds are expected to make a big impact at the upcoming Live and Loud gig.
Joining him that night is Indie folk-pop songstress Sarah Hogan and folk singer and songwriter Shane Hogan.
Sarah Hogan is known as an emotive performer, as her unique style, raw talent and honest songwriting often compels her audiences to reflect on their own personal journey.
Fellow folk singer songwriter Shane Hogan lives the songs he writes. The Irish man interprets the every day and presents a slice of life that everyone can relate to.
His characters are real and his words will take you on a journey through shearing sheds out west and back again to the big smoke.
Pre-purchased tickets to the show are $10, or you can purchase tickets at the door for $15.
The show will be held from 8-10.20pm.
