THE Goodna Jacaranda Festival is a much loved community festival that celebrates the wonderfully diverse lifestyle in our region.

With something for everyone and free entry, you cannot afford to miss it.

This year's festival, which will be held from Friday, October 26 to Sunday, October 28, promises to be three big days of fun for the entire family.

There will be lots of live entertainment, with a wide array of bands playing throughout the weekend. Local singer and songwriter Tammy Mathison, who is well renowned for her impressive repertoire spanning from opera to musical theatre through to pop, will delight the crowd by performing some of her original hit songs.

The Mod Squad, Cool Coda Band, Barefoot Brass, Chandler Jay and emerging country music star Felicity Kircher are just a few of the other big name acts who will be playing throughout the course of the weekend.

Sideshow Alley will return once again with rides such as swings, dodgem cars and the cha cha all booked in for the festival.

There will also be plenty of food vendors, market stalls and more over the three days.

The Goodna Jacaranda Festival will be held at Evan Marginson Park, located opposite the Goodna Services Club on Woogaroo Street.

Entry to the festival is free.
