From January 9-15 at QPAC Concert Hall, on the corner of Grey and Melbourne Sts, South Brisbane.

SEVEN of the world's most incredible illusionists will be appearing in Brisbane. Their non-stop show is packed with thrilling and sophisticated magic. Underworld: Mugshots from the Roaring Twenties

Now showing at The Workshops Rail Museum until February 24.

THIS photography exhibition will take you on a trip back in time to the seedy 1920s underworld. The exhibition features more than 130 candid and compelling mugshots taken by police between 1920 and 1930. For more information, log on to www.theworkshops.qm.qld .gov.au.

William Bustard: Selected Works

On now at the Ipswich Art Gallery until February 12.

EIGHT works by painter, illustrator and stained-glass window designer William Bustard are on show at the Ipswich Art Gallery. He is also well known for his expressive paintings depicting pastoral landscapes, seascapes and city scenes.

Lego Studio: Drop in and Design Day

Monday, January 14, from 9am-5pm at the Springfield Central Library.

BEAT the heat and create your own Lego masterpiece at the library. Kids will have the opportunity to work on their own projects, or work as part of a team. Suitable for children aged five and over, and it is free to attend. Supervision is required.
